While we have your computer in the service department, if you need to access the Internet, our Internet cafe is available to you at no charge. This allows you to do your online banking, finish off that late assignment etc despite having a broken computer.

Viruses and Spyware continue to be one of the main causes of PC problems. If your computer is running slowly or appears to become confused, you could have spyware, a virus or trojan. We can remove these for a standard fee of $65. However, this does not cover repair of serious operating system (Windows) damage that can be caused by virus removal. This happens in approximately one out of ten cases.

FORMATTING YOUR HARD DRIVE

Sometimes, after a serious virus infestation, it becomes necessary for us to format (wipe) your hard drive and reinstall Windows. Let us spell this out - wipe your drive means EVERYTHING is gone - no exceptions.

Formatting is a last resort action and there are usually repercussions. If you have not backed up your data, we can do it for you for a fee but usually, you will lose your e-mail messages and address book if the job is being done because Windows will not start. Programs will also be lost so unless you have the disks for software such as Office, anti-virus etc we cannot reinstall it for you.We can usually locate your Windows installation code (if the computer is running) but if if you have no certificate of authenticity or if your code falls into certain categories, such as "illegal", we cannot use it and your only option is to purchase a legal licence code.
